Description: The Cardiovascular ICU team at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a skilled nurse to join their team. This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

Working in our 10-bed Cardiovascular ICU offers a unique chance to build strong relationships in a supportive team while specializing in a highly sought-after field. You'll collaborate with surgeons performing next-level surgeries and procedures while contributing to a growing program. A day in the life of a CVICU RN can look like:
  • Work in a 10-bed unit with advanced technology and a highly skilled team, specializing in major cardiac surgeries and complex cardiovascular conditions.
  • Care for patients recovering from intricate cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve surgery, and aortic surgery.
  • Deliver specialized care with expertise, compassion, and a commitment to patient-centered approaches in our state-of-the-art intensive care unit.
  • Administer medications and perform essential procedures to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient education and support to enhance health and wellness.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
  • Contribute to a tight-knit team with strong leadership, a supportive environment, and opportunities for professional growth.
About you:
  • You currently hold an Idaho or multistate RN license.
  • If you have a multistate license, you would need to establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 6 months of hire.
  • You have your Basic Life Support.
  • You are willing to obtain your Advance Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
