GI Alliance is in search of a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to deliver exceptional anesthesia care under the supervision of a physician.
Key Responsibilities:
As a CRNA, your duties will encompass a variety of critical tasks, including but not limited to:
- Executing comprehensive airway management techniques.
- Facilitating patient emergence and recovery from anesthesia by assessing responses and administering necessary medications and fluids to ensure stability during transitions.
- Initiating and managing post-anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support for cardiovascular stability.
- Providing respiratory support to guarantee adequate ventilation and oxygenation during the recovery phase.
- Conducting post-anesthesia evaluations and follow-up care.
- Discharging patients from the post-anesthesia care unit.
- Monitoring vital life functions closely and taking corrective actions in response to any adverse drug reactions.
- Ensuring timely termination of anesthesia to promote patient safety during recovery.
- Performing additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required, along with a valid CRNA certification.
Experience:
A minimum of two years of progressive experience in a multispecialty physician group setting is preferred.
Performance Competencies:
- Ability to transport patients using stretchers to various locations.
- Capability to function clinically as a nurse anesthetist in a facility setting consistently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with clinical staff.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for diverse patient populations.
- Understanding of infection prevention and control protocols.
- Ability to assess and respond to patient needs across the lifespan.
- Proficient in technical (computer) skills.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Strong ethical standards.
