Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addictions Counselor to join our team at Gaudenzia. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use disorder.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients with substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Document all clinical services and interventions performed within the client's electronic health record.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications
  • Maryland Education/ Licensure Requirements: All counseling candidates must have, at minimum, an Alcohol and Drug Trainee certification (ADT) through the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.
