Job Summary:
Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team. As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plant equipment in accordance with standard work and building procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement or test design solutions.
- Perform runs on equipment in support of the Engineering team.
- Repair or replace broken components and test machines for performance.
- Read/interpret schematics and layout drawings of equipment.
- Communicate automation problems with Engineering team and other appropriate functions.
- Recommend improvements to assembly, maintenance, safety, test method of product through automated process.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of trade school education and/or industrial manufacturing experience in a similar role.
- Process knowledge specific to hose manufacturing.
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Sound decision making skills.
- Good math, reading and writing skills.
- Be able to exercise continuous mental, visual and audio attention.
Working Conditions:
The employee may be subject to high noise levels from operating machines and equipment, physical hazards from operating machines and moving reels, and standing for extended periods of time.
