About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neurology Department as an Ambulatory Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Job Summary: The Ambulatory Nurse will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing phone triage, and collaborating with clinicians to ensure seamless communication and timely scheduling.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate patient appointments and communicate with patients and referring providers
  2. Manage phone triage, assessing urgent situations and escalating as needed
  3. Collaborate with clinicians to provide comprehensive care and address patient concerns
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic medical record
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent (within 12 months) clinical nursing experience in an Ambulatory Clinic/Practice setting
  • Experience working in a Call Center or similar area and handling referrals strongly preferred
  • Certification in Ambulatory Care or ambulatory specialty area preferred
  • Proficient use of EPIC and other electronic medical records
