The Regent Hotel

We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our team at The Regent Hotel. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service while performing regular duties, as well as managing a team of waiting staff. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, as the restaurant is based in a busy hotel open all year round.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily front and back of house restaurant operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to any arising guest dissatisfaction
  • Organise and supervise staffing for twice daily meal times for our guests
  • Organise and maintain levels of equipment required for delivery of service
  • Mentor new waiting staff with correct operational procedures for the Restaurant
  • Ensure all reasonable tasks related to the role are completed as asked by the Hotel Management
  • Greet and serve guests with food and drinks as required
  • Take customers' orders and pass them to kitchen staff or bar assistants
  • Work as a team with other staff in the dining room, and effectively communicate with the Kitchen staff
  • Be accurate and courteous at all times
  • Be aware of company Health & Safety policy in your workplace and assist others to help maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Extensive Food and Beverage knowledge
  • Able to motivate others to promote guest experience
  • Attentive and patient
  • Ability to multi-task and not lose performance level under pressure
  • Active listening and effective communication skills
  • Management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Restaurant Management: 1 year (Preferred)
