Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct seasonal market research to identify trends in style, fit, and color, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with brand leadership to execute designs that meet brand objectives and initiatives.
  • Oversee the design process, implementing the overall brand strategy and merchandise objectives.
  • Create technically accurate CAD sketches of styles in development.
  • Communicate regularly with Design and Merchandising teams to discuss line development progress and share feedback.
  • Execute tech packs to ensure accuracy of product development.
  • Attend fitting meetings to ensure design intention is captured.
  • Review and approve styles, materials, trims, and colors according to need.
  • Participate in sampling communication between sample room, Design, and cross-functional teams.
  • Attend corporate milestone and cross-functional meetings for key feedback and actionable requests.
  • Prepare line reviews and presentation materials for market and corporate brand meetings.
  • Partner cross-functionally to gather and present design insights from the brand.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of apparel design experience.
