Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional educational experiences to learners at Central Arizona College. The ideal candidates will be committed to fostering student achievement and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct a diverse range of welding courses through both traditional and digital platforms.
- Motivate students by employing various instructional strategies and providing constructive feedback on their performance.
- Keep accurate student records and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
- Create and enhance course content while collaborating with fellow educators on curriculum improvements.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at student recruitment and retention.
- Remain informed about advancements in educational practices and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of professional welding experience, along with a current certification from the American Welding Society.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree and possession of an AWS Certified Welding Inspection (CWI) Card.
- Experience in developing educational programs and utilizing innovative teaching techniques.
- Capability to collaborate with external organizations to enhance program offerings.
Compensation:
$900 per Credit Hour
