We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Certified Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care Clinic team in Ave Maria, FL. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams by taking vitals and updating health information in our electronic medical record system.
- Review medication history and prepare exam rooms for procedures with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Assist physicians with exams, tests, and procedures as required, and administer injections as ordered.
- Maintain equipment sterilization procedures and manage clinical supply levels.
- Schedule patient appointments and answer incoming phone calls, and maintain patient charts and records.
- Ensure all new and existing patient forms are properly completed and documented in our electronic medical record system.
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting.
- Valid certification as a Medical Assistant (NRCMA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent).
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
