About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Old Dominion Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
  • Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
Requirements
  • Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state
  • Current/active CPR certification, preferred
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate, and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity
  • Ability to lift fifty (50) or more pounds
  • Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day
  • Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time
Work Schedule

8 hour shifts, 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11pm to 7a, including weekends
