Job Title: Concierge

As a Concierge at Martin Resorts, you will be the face of our hotel, providing exceptional customer service to our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable stay with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to all guests, using their names and addressing them with a personalized approach.
  • Assist guests with reservations, suggestions, information, and directions to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Uphold friendly and courteous telephone service and interactions with guests and fellow employees.
  • Coordinate with guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Preserve the security and privacy of guest rooms and administrative keys.
  • Actively communicate with management and staff through scheduled reports, customer feedback, and guest needs.
  • Receive and send guest and hotel mail, packages, and transmissions.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of rates, features, amenities, and area attractions to assist any client and maintain a competitive understanding.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of any and all company information, including performance statistics, agreements with clients, prospective business, and financial information.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures throughout the execution of tasks and responsibilities, including maintaining excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Sustain the safety of the property through risk-management behavior, proper inspections, participation in the Safety and Security Committee, and knowledge of emergency procedures.
  • Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
  • Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operations.
  • Follow safety and security procedures.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
  • Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
  • Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Following safety procedures as your role is defined.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of Hospitality Related Experience
  • Vast knowledge of the area and all it has to offer
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to hear, understand, and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests in a normal in-person and phone conversation
  • Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
  • Ascend and descend a ladder
