Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing direct patient care, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and administering medications
* Supporting healthcare providers with administrative tasks, such as completing patient forms and processing medication refills
* Participating in triage duties, including assessing patients and determining priority levels for care
* Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop interventions that meet the unique needs of our patient population
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Current State of Nebraska LPN or RN licensure
* CPR certification for Healthcare Providers (within 3 months of hire)
* Two to three years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting (previous work in a community health center is preferred)
* Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to administer various treatments and medications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Electronic Practice Management (EPM) and/or Electronic Health Record (EHR)
