As a key member of our estimating team, you will play a vital role in assessing project costs and managing preconstruction activities. Your expertise will be essential in developing both conceptual and competitive bid estimates, ensuring that all calculations are precise and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that reflect the scope and specifications of projects.
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, support teams, and clients to maintain accuracy in estimates.
- Manage communications with subcontractors to gather necessary pricing information.
- Assist in value engineering and project turnover processes to optimize project delivery.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil construction estimating.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Agtek or Earthwork modeling software.
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera.
- Experience with electronic takeoff methods.
