Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to join our team as an Assistant/Associate Director, Annual Giving (Class and Signature Fundraising focus). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising initiatives related to alumni classes and affinity groups, with a focus on creating lasting relationships that drive financial support for the university.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement gift committee volunteer strategy, ensuring effective recruitment, retention, and training of 600+ class-based volunteers.
- Lead 25th and 50th fundraising efforts, driving engagement and giving among alumni, and leveraging data analysis to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the university to develop and implement affinity-based fundraising strategy, identifying opportunities to engage donors and increase support from specific groups.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in fundraising, alumni relations, sales, marketing, event planning, non-profit organizations, and/or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing programs, meeting measurable goals, and leveraging data analysis to inform decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including alumni, students, faculty, and staff.
