We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our AWS Global Brick and Position Delivery team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of technical program managers who support our data center scaling initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the progress of our networking brick program, anticipate risks, and resolve issues as needed.
- Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
- Manage individual contributor job performance.
- Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offs.
- Provide regular program progress reporting.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the program's execution and success.
- Manage multiple competing projects simultaneously.
- Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large groups informed of progress and obstacles.
- Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow-up.
- Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement and automated solutions.
- Report ad-hoc, weekly, and monthly program and operating metrics.
- Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of project management experience or 7 years of project management experience (experience can be substituted for degree).
- Minimum of 3 years managing teams ranging from 3-10+ direct reports.
- 3+ years of experience in managing complex technology or infrastructure-related projects.
- 3+ years of experience involved in data centers, networking engineering, and/or systems engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
- Master's degree or advanced professional degree.
- Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, and MS Sharepoint.
- Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies as well as basic Python and SQL skills.
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills as well as a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment.
