Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Cyber Security Intelligence Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical analysis skills, be able to perform independent and professional work, and have a strong understanding of network activity, host activity, and data. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing technical analysis on a wide range of cybersecurity issues, including network flow, signature-based IDS/IPS alert/event data, full packet capture data, proxy and application server logs.
- Triaging IDS/IPS alerts, collecting related data from various systems, reviewing open and closed source information on related threats & vulnerabilities, diagnosing observed activity for likelihood of system infection, compromise or unintended/high-risk exposure.
- Preparing analysis reports detailing background, observables, analysis process & criteria, and conclusions.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a BS/BA degree and 5-8 years of experience, or a MS/MA degree and 3-5 years of experience, or a PhD and 0-2 years of experience. Additionally, the candidate must have 3+ years of experience in a SOC or Incident Response role, a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification, and desired certifications such as CEH, GCIH, GCIA, and GCFA.
