Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lead Linen Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for distributing clean linen items to various units, preparing soiled linen for pickup by contractors, and removing soiled linen from various units.
Key Responsibilities
- Distribute clean linen items to various units, ensuring that all areas have a sufficient supply of linens.
- Prepare soiled linen for pickup by contractors, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Remove soiled linen from various units, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Maintain accurate records of linen inventory and distribution.
- Collaborate with other Medical Center staff to ensure seamless linen distribution and management.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, pivot, and push/pull carts.
- Ability to meet departmental and medical center work schedules.
