Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at Cross Country Nurses. As a Cardiac Cath Lab RN, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, and angioplasties.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in the specialty and be an active RN license holder. As a Cardiac Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for prepping patients for procedures, ensuring informed consent, monitoring vital signs, and administering IVs. During procedures, you will assist the physician, monitor and assess the patient, and administer medications as needed. After procedures, you will stay with patients until they are stabilized to be transferred or discharged.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Prep patients for procedures and ensure informed consent
  • Monitor vital signs and administer IVs
  • Assist with patient care during procedures
  • Stay with patients until they are stabilized to be transferred or discharged
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in the specialty
  • Active RN license
