Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Security Watch, Inc. as a Federal Prison Guard. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of federal prisoners in local hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guard federal prisoners in local hospitals
  • Ensure the safety and security of prisoners and hospital staff
  • Monitor and respond to emergency situations
  • Perform routine security checks and patrols
  • Collaborate with hospital staff and law enforcement agencies as needed

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience working in corrections or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science in any field (or equivalent experience)
  • Good general health and ability to perform job functions
  • Correctable vision to 20/30 (Snellen) in the better eye
  • Ability to distinguish primary colors
  • Ability to hear a conversational voice without using a hearing aid
  • Good credit history
  • No history of psychiatric disorders
  • No use of illegal drugs or controlled substances

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform job functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Background Investigation:

  • Complete background check and fingerprinting
  • Provide complete details of any conviction record
