We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Commercial and Residential Management Group. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for performing daily upkeep and cleanliness of our properties, including landscaping, amenities, parking lots, and trash areas.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with essential maintenance duties, including repairs, carpentry, electrical, painting, landscaping, pool maintenance, and plumbing tasks under the guidance of experienced maintenance technicians.
- Perform daily upkeep and cleanliness of properties, including landscaping, amenities, parking lots, and trash areas.
- Assist with pool maintenance, including cleaning and testing the water.
- Operate a golf cart and other equipment as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Available for after-hours emergencies and willing to work independently or as part of a team.
- One (1) year of experience in a maintenance technician role or one (1) year of experience in a housekeeping porter position or previous maintenance technician experience in property management for commercial or multi-family properties.
- Janitorial experience preferred.
- Possess basic knowledge of landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and installation and repair of flooring.
- Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communications and directions.
- Understand and administer landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and refrain from all illegal discrimination practices.
- Competitive hourly rate of $23-$26 per hour.
- FT schedule, Tuesday-Saturday, 9 AM-6 PM.
- 40 hours per week.
- A monthly $50.00 cell phone stipend, eligible for bonuses, and mileage reimbursement for business-related travels.
- Eligible for benefits first of the month following 30 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision insurance, employer-paid life insurance, employee-paid voluntary insurance options, and a flexible spending medical/dependent care savings account.
- Opportunity to enroll in the 401(k) program with an employer match (eligible first of the month after 90 days of employment).
