Position Overview:

Join our dynamic team at Integrated Resources, Inc (IRI) as we explore innovative solutions in the field of gene therapy. This role within the RNA, Gene Therapy and Delivery Department presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge gene therapies aimed at addressing critical medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in small-scale production of adenoviruses utilizing mammalian cell cultures, followed by purification processes using AKTA-based IEX chromatography.
  • Conduct a variety of viral titration and quality control assays, including ddPCR, potency evaluations, PAGE/agarose gel electrophoresis, western blotting, DLS/DSF, and ELISA.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team setting while also demonstrating the ability to work independently to achieve project milestones.
  • Utilize your expertise to purify and characterize viral vectors, generating critical data to support the advancement of lead candidates.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific discipline is required.
  • Prior experience in gene therapy is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in protein purification or antibody purification techniques is essential.
  • Familiarity with chromatography methods, particularly IEX, is necessary.
  • Experience in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is a significant plus.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is expected.
  • Knowledge of AKTA systems, PAGE, and DLS/DSF techniques will be beneficial.
  • Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks is a valuable asset.
