Key Responsibilities:

The Store Attendant plays an integral part in the functionality of both the grocery and front-end operations. Additional tasks may be assigned based on business requirements.

The primary duties and responsibilities include:

Dependability - Consistent and reliable attendance;

Providing assistance to customers across all departments;

Efficiently stocking products in the grocery, dairy, and frozen sections;

Monitoring stocked items to ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations;

Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the products offered;

Alerting the department manager regarding low or out-of-stock items;

Verifying pricing and signage accuracy;

Ensuring compliance with State and County safety and sanitation standards for all equipment and surfaces;

Bagging groceries, managing shopping carts, and supporting the front-end team as needed;

Assisting with bottle return machines, waste management, cleaning tasks, and any other duties as directed by management;

Qualifications:

*This is a permanent position, not seasonal*

Dependability - Consistent and reliable attendance;

Availability to work at least two weekdays and one weekend day;

Strong communication skills;

Self-motivated and proactive;

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of independent work;

Proficient in multitasking, maintaining focus, and working efficiently;

Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods;

Reliable transportation or plans to relocate prior to starting employment.
