We are seeking a Server to join our team at Denny's in San Bernardino, CA. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate a point of sale system to process orders and handle customer payments.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, including beverages, appetizers, salads, and desserts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area and service area.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning the dining area.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and meet customer needs.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to pass all required tests and training requirements for the position.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
- Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift.
- Must be able to hear well in a loud environment to respond to employee and guest needs.
