Job Summary:

The Pediatric Nurse will be responsible for delivering and documenting skilled nursing care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with the developed care plan and physician orders. This includes:

  • Providing quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Observing and assessing patient condition and care needs, and reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate
  • Documenting all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner
  • Participating in and updating the nursing care plan
  • Recognizing changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention, and implementing care to prevent or reduce risk
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
  • One (1) year of experience required working under current nursing license
Preferred Qualifications:

We prefer candidates with:

  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience
Physical Requirements:

This role requires:

  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance
Environment:

This role involves working in a variety of environments, which may include exposure to allergens and other conditions. You may also be exposed to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
