Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and executing comprehensive nursing care. This includes assisting physicians during various examinations and procedures, conducting patient tests, and administering medications in accordance with nursing standards.
In this role, you will promote patient autonomy by establishing care objectives and educating patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida is mandatory.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- A minimum of 500 hours of experience in an open heart center is essential.
