Job Summary

Ladgov Corporation seeks a dedicated and compassionate Catholic Spiritual Leader to provide spiritual guidance and worship services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Worship Services: Conduct Catholic Mass and Reconciliation (confession) as scheduled, including Sunday and Saturday evening Masses, weekday Masses, and Holy Days of obligation.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community through fellowship opportunities, including one hour prior to Mass and one half hour after Mass.
  • Training and Certification: Oversee the training and certification of worship volunteers as required.
  • Prayer and Liturgy: Compose Prayers of the Faithful for Sunday and Holy Day liturgies, adhering to liturgical guidelines and the needs of the community.
  • Sacramental Services: Perform Anointing of the Sick, Funeral/Memorial Services, Baptism, and other sacramental ministrations as requested and authorized.
  • Education and Formation: Conduct and supervise Catholic religious education and spiritual formation programs, including the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), scripture study sessions, and the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) programs.
  • Counseling and Support: Provide individual and/or group counseling sessions for spiritual formation, marriage preparation, baptismal preparation, and personal and/or family matters.
  • Administrative Tasks: Accomplish necessary administrative tasks, including providing timely information and professional guidance to Ladgov Corporation personnel for worship service programs, sacramental documentation, and other administrative requirements.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: The applicant must be an ordained Roman Catholic priest with the requisite skills and experience acceptable to Ladgov Corporation and possess a minimum of two years of experience in the provision of worship as a Catholic priest.
  • Security Clearance: The applicant must be able to qualify for Confidential Security Clearance at a minimum.
