Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of all equipment, machinery, and facilities within the organization. This role involves performing routine preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery according to established schedules.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Complete repairs and replacements of defective parts, components, or systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential maintenance issues and address them proactively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and prioritize tasks based on urgency and criticality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field required.
