Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in a stepdown unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify needs and develop effective care plans
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences, values, and goals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely administration
- Monitor patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any abnormalities to physicians or other healthcare professionals
- Document patient care and progress in a clear and concise manner, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a stepdown unit or similar healthcare setting
- ACLS/BCLS/BLS certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
