Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier and Sales Associate to join our team at Sweetpea's. As a Cashier and Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and performing various sales and customer service tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and performing other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately handle customer transactions, process payments, and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
  • Sales and Promotions: Participate in sales and promotional activities, suggest products to customers, and maintain a high level of sales performance.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry 20+ pounds continuously.
  • Previous Experience: Previous work experience in retail and/or customer service.
  • Availability: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability: Reliable means of transportation.
