About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Mori Seiki and Okuma lathe machines, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to ISO9001/AS9100 standards. Your expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving will be essential in maintaining efficient operations.

You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver exceptional results, from prototype to production, across various industries, including Aerospace, Medical, and Commercial. Responsibilities
  • Setup and operate Mori Seiki and Okuma lathe machines for production runs.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and reducing downtime.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and optimize machine performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and quality control data.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a machinist or setup specialist, preferably with Mori Seiki and Okuma lathe machines.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with a focus on precision and accuracy.
  • A strong understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 standards and their application in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
