Embalmer - Funeral Director

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Funeral Director to join our team at Service Corporation International. As a Funeral Director, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to families during their time of need.

• Facilitate funeral arrangement discussions with next of kin and preside over visitation, funeral, and graveside services
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Perform embalming responsibilities and maintain preparation room cleanliness
• Coordinate event planning, including resource planning and ordering of music, flowers, and catering
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with families and community members

• Current Funeral Director and Embalmer dual license within the practicing state
• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Industry experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
