At MRG Exams, we are seeking a licensed mental health professional to join our team as an Independent Contractor. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments of U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology and be licensed to practice in their state. They will also need to meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of military families while enjoying a flexible full-time or part-time schedule. As an Independent Contractor, you will have the autonomy to work independently and choose your own cases.

Our company provides malpractice insurance coverage, and health insurance options are available. The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

About the Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process
  • Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal
  • Perform in-person assessments on each Veteran
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Licensed to practice in their state
  • Meet VA credentialing requirements
