Job Title: Host/Hostess

Join The H Hotel team as a Host/Hostess and be part of a dynamic and customer-focused environment. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Welcome and Seating: Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Phone and Reservation Management: Answer phones using proper etiquette, take reservations, and manage to-go orders with a smile.
  • Dining Room Setup and Maintenance: Ensure the dining room is set up and maintained to the highest standards, including table settings, cleanliness, and server parity.
  • Menu Presentation and Recommendations: Present menus, make recommendations, and take orders as needed, providing exceptional service to our guests.
  • Team Collaboration and Support: Assist other food and beverage staff as needed, ensuring a cohesive and efficient service team.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Prior food and beverage industry experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Guest Relations Training: Prior guest relations training is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective communication with guests, co-workers, and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push, or pull, with a maximum weight of 25 pounds.
