Radiation Therapist

The Radiation Therapist is a critical member of our team, responsible for delivering accurate and efficient radiation treatments to patients under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist.

This role requires a thorough understanding of radiation therapy principles, as well as excellent patient assessment and interpersonal communication skills.

• Administer daily radiation therapy treatments to patients, maintaining accurate records and adhering to established protocols.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new radiation therapists, ensuring a smooth transition and high-quality patient care.
• Perform computed tomography (CT) simulation procedures and clinical simulations, adhering to departmental protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment planning.

• Certifications: Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Work Experience: Relevant work experience in radiation therapy, with a focus on patient care and treatment planning.
• Education: Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
