Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at New Carrot Farms LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment to maintain maximum production and quality
  • Test equipment to ensure proper operation and identify areas for improvement
  • Inspect and measure product from assigned equipment to ensure quality specifications
  • Conduct preventive maintenance checks and inspections on assigned equipment
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions and quality problems to supervisor
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance trainees
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years of experience in a related industry
  • Ability to read and understand equipment and technical manuals
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment with proven skills in mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to lift/push-pull/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time
