Job Summary

As a Van Driver with Aimbridge Hospitality, you will be responsible for providing exceptional transportation services to our guests. This role requires strong analytical and navigation skills, as well as the ability to coordinate multiple pick-ups and drop-offs on a schedule under continuously changing circumstances.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the van according to scheduled van runs and/or as needed for guests
  • Assist guests with luggage and provide concierge duties
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests
  • Provide information and directions to guests as needed
  • Ensure lobby reader board is correct and maintain cleanliness of motor entrance, front door, and lobby area
  • Deliver flowers, packages, and messages to guest rooms
  • Complete room changes and maintain cleanliness of van interior and exterior
  • Answer console to assist guest services agents and show guest rooms and suites as needed
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Minimum of one year driving experience
  • Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
