Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Page Material Management LLC. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating machinery to move third-party material, storing, pressing, and molding it into bales, sorting, and reloading material according to customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, banding equipment, overhead cranes, balers, and front-end loaders to move and manage material.
  • Monitor equipment operation, ensuring it is working properly and making adjustments as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with the company driver to gain an understanding of their daily functions and operations.
  • Meet attendance and punctuality requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with forklift operation.
  • Background working with machinery.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependability and reliability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and adhere to a drug-free workplace policy.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift at least 60 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for 80% of the workday and use abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly or continuously.
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, lift, and move objects.
Work Environment

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires employees to take reasonable care of their health and safety and report any unsafe conditions.
