Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our prestigious finance team. This role is crucial for providing top-tier tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit organizations.
  • Conducting thorough financial and tax audits to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce potential liabilities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate and streamline financial reporting processes.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on tax matters to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and interpreting new tax legislation and ensuring company-wide compliance.
  • Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to existing accounting systems and controls.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution. An advanced degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and filing procedures.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
