Paintline Technician

Join our team as a Paintline Technician at R.H. Sheppard Co. Inc., a leading manufacturer of components for the trucking and transportation industry. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in preparing gears and other parts for shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to established safety procedures and 5S standards to perform daily duties in this position.
• Select component parts to assemble in accordance with blueprints or instructions.
• Inspect parts for damage and/or imperfections, and coordinate parts using the paintline schedule.
• Visually inspect painted products to identify any issues and inform the supervisor as needed.

Working Conditions:

General shop and machine tool noise, heat, dirt, grease, oil, paint dust, water, anti-seize, and chemicals from machines and equipment. Normal working position is constant standing and walking throughout the plant.

Requirements:

• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
