Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Support Associate to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of respiratory equipment and supplies, as well as providing support to our respiratory therapists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain respiratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Setup and prepare respiratory equipment for use
  • Perform pre-use checks on respiratory equipment to ensure proper function
  • Maintain par levels of respiratory supplies to ensure adequate stock
  • Replenish air and oxygen tanks as needed
  • Perform equipment maintenance and calibrations as required
  • Update equipment logs to track maintenance and repairs
  • Deliver equipment and supplies to respiratory therapists as needed
  • Pick up discontinued equipment and bring to soiled utility for cleaning
  • Perform delegated patient care activities as assigned
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy Program
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
