Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational services team, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication and language development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team, as well as offer professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and TX state license in Speech-Language Pathology, as well as ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience and Skills: Experience working in a school setting is preferred, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
