The Opportunity

Pinwheel Pasta is seeking a talented Server/Cashier to join our Front of House department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

The Role

Oak Quarry is a fast-paced environment where you will work alongside our Executive Chef and culinary team to launch our beautiful new restaurant. Your primary function will be prompt, efficient service and professionalism, ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service and a memorable experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
  • Describe specials of the day to guests and answer questions regarding any menu item, offering suggestions when appropriate.
  • Take food and beverage orders for guests and follow up to ensure satisfaction, replenishing items as needed.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests to stay informed about menu offerings and promotions.
  • Maintain an organized workstation and side work duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient service operation.
  • Be responsible for accountability of all checks and transactions, incorporating safe work practices in job performance.
  • Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders, as well as general service techniques.
  • Practice positive teamwork and communication with co-workers, management, and kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive and effective service team.
Qualifications
  • No prior experience or training is required, but a reliable and predictable attendance is essential.
  • Frequently stand and walk, talk and hear, and regularly use hands to finger, feel or handle, taste or smell, and reach with hands or arms.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Active San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card is required.
