We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Scholar in Computer Vision to join our team at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA). The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge applications of real-time computer vision to live performances that utilize extended reality platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement real-time computer vision algorithms for live performances
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students in the School of Theater, Film, and Television
  • Interface with external sponsors and collaborators, including Disney Research | Studios and Disney StudioLAB
  • Contribute to the development of performance projects created for the public
Requirements
  • Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related discipline
  • Strong experience in computer vision for real-time applications
  • Significant experience and/or interest in multidisciplinary collaborations in arts and entertainment
  • Experience with multicamera vision, augmented reality, and/or performance capture is a plus
