Special Education Assistant

New Story Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in helping students with special needs achieve their goals.
About the Role:
As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will assist the lead teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include providing support in the classroom, helping students with their academic tasks, and assisting students with self-help skills to promote independence. You will also monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers to help adjust teaching strategies as needed.

Requirements:
