About the Role

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to work from home or office, servicing onsite survey/inspection assignments in the Fresh Meadows / Queens County, NY area and other locations within approximately 20 miles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients
  • Manage assignments, successfully secure customer appointments, and complete work assignments on time
  • Evaluate businesses to identify hazards and improve safety, mitigating risk for insurance company clients

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency
  • Commitment to meeting client quality and timeliness standards
  • Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and/or fire and safety
