We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Foster Care Specialist to join our team. As a Foster Care Specialist, you will work with foster care children to discuss their referral issues and advocate for their best interests. You will serve as a liaison between the child and the court, providing intensive in-home based treatment and interventions that bring change through the family, school, community, and peer groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide services to the entire family, rather than just the identified youth.
  • Work with the family hands-on to build trust and align them with treatment.
  • Manage a caseload of 8-10 families.
  • Deliver services in the family's home or wherever they need us (school, court, etc.).
  • Meet with supervisors at least three times per week to discuss progress and personal development.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in a social services discipline is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline is required, but must be working on a Master's degree in a social services discipline.
  • Experience with counseling adolescents in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
