Compensation: $19.39 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Position Summary:
The 24/7 Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of the Yankton County 24/7 Sobriety Program. This position is vital for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and serves as a benchmark for successful program execution.
The Coordinator will manage a team of part-time staff, supervise over 100 program participants, and handle the allocated budget for the 24/7 operations. Additionally, this role involves acting as the liaison for various judicial and public safety entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating strategic input and guiding the execution of program policies and procedures.
- Overseeing all financial transactions, including managing receivables, deposits, fee remittances, and refunds.
- Assessing and directing the program to adopt best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilizing discretion in addressing complex participant situations.
- Administering the program budget, including planning, income tracking, and expenditure management.
- Managing records and ensuring effective communication of sensitive information to relevant authorities.
- Exercising discretion in participant management, including enrollment, sanctions enforcement, and fee collection.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including judges, attorneys, and public safety officials, to implement policy decisions.
- Representing the program at the state level on behalf of the Sheriff.
- Preparing and disseminating program statistics.
- Monitoring Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor (SCRAM) accounts and managing waiting lists.
- Ensuring adequate supply management through inventory tracking and ordering.
- Participating in assigned training and meetings.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree, or relevant experience in program management.
- Preference for candidates with a proven track record in program operations.
- Valid South Dakota Driver's License.
- Ability to meet background investigation and pre-employment drug screening standards.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, use hands, communicate verbally, and hear. The employee may frequently walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally, the employee may need to lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
