About the Role

US-Offsite is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Prefabrication Craftsman to oversee the manufacturing of modular residential construction projects in a controlled environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performance team and ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a High-Performance Team: Manage and motivate a team of skilled craftsmen to achieve production targets and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manufacturing and Quality Control: Oversee the manufacturing process, ensuring that all modules meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and support their career development.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all team members follow safety protocols and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading a team and managing production processes.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as experience with heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects weighing up to 150 pounds, as well as climbing and working from ladders up to 36 feet in height.
  • Environmental Conditions: The role may require exposure to various unusual elements, including extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
