Vista Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Tech to join our team. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Act as a liaison between nurses, patients, and their families, ensuring seamless communication and care.
- Take vital signs, collect specimens, and perform catheterization as needed.
- Assist patients with eating, personal hygiene, and grooming, promoting their comfort and dignity.
- Transport patients to other departments, ensuring their safe and timely transfer.
- Assist with admissions and discharges, ensuring a smooth transition for patients and their families.
- Float to all Med/Surg, Telemetry, Observation, and ICU units, providing support and care where needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant or EMT certification required.
- CPR certification (AHA or ARC) required.
