Shift Schedule:

  • 12-hour static shifts (Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
  • Work days: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday

Compensation:

  • Starting wage begins at $19.00

Key Responsibilities:

You will oversee the operation and output of designated production lines, which includes:

  • Identifying visual defects in products
  • Conducting visual inspections
  • Understanding physical testing and equipment
  • Utilizing lab equipment for physical tests
  • Adhering to equipment procedures
  • Grasping product knowledge and customer specifications
  • Verifying and applying customer requirements
  • Completing and organizing paperwork
  • Managing retain samples and filing
  • Working independently with minimal supervision
  • Complying with industry standards (BRC, ISO) and operating procedures
  • Communicating issues related to non-compliance and scrap materials
  • Conducting audits as assigned

Safety Standards:

  • Prioritizing safety and health in all tasks
  • Following company safety protocols and participating in safety initiatives
  • Maintaining cleanliness and professionalism in the work area
  • Reporting and addressing unsafe conditions promptly
  • Ensuring quality production for customer distribution
  • Maintaining production efficiency
  • Identifying and recommending improvements
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues with supervisor support

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in plastic extrusion preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Team-oriented with leadership capabilities
  • Effective decision-making skills
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, pull, and lift during a 12-hour shift (lifting limit: 65 lbs)
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands for this role include:

  • Standing for most of the 12-hour shift on a concrete production floor
  • Regular use of arms and hands for reaching and handling
  • Repetitive lifting and moving of up to 65 pounds
  • Climbing stairs and working safely around hot surfaces and rotating equipment
  • Frequent communication and listening
  • Specific vision requirements including close and distance vision
  • Exposure to varying temperature and humidity levels
